The legendary Californian no-kill center supports Remember Me France. Discover this partnership for Romania's abandoned dogs.

Founded in 1972 in Rancho Santa Fe, California, the Helen Woodward Animal Center is one of the most influential shelters in the world. Entirely private, with no public funding, it has carried a simple conviction for 50 years: people helping animals and animals helping people.
Its Home 4 the Holidays program has enabled more than 20 million adoptions through a network of 4,000 partner shelters. Its Remember Me Thursday campaign lights up more than 140 countries every year to remind us that millions of animals are waiting for a family. Since 2022, the center has held consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
Through its international training program The Business of Saving Lives, led by its president Mike Arms, the center shares its expertise with shelters around the world, including in Romania.
This partnership connects our Pascani shelter to the world's leading expertise in animal rescue. A recognition that holds us to a high standard, and that directly benefits our 437 dogs.
