Dr Lucian Radu's practice cares for our 437 dogs in Pascani. Sterilizations, emergencies, travel certificates: the medical heart of Remember Me France.
Without Dr Lucian Radu, Remember Me Land would not exist. Our shelter was built on his family's land, in Topile near Pascani, for a symbolic rent. That gesture changed local history: by the end of 2015, the municipal pound of Pascani was empty.
The Apistopvet practice now handles the entire medical follow-up of our 437 dogs: consultations, surgeries, vaccinations, microchipping, tests and the health certificates required to travel to France. Andreea Toma, the vet dedicated to the shelter, and Monica Radu, the veterinary assistant in charge of TRACES declarations, are part of the team.
Apistopvet is also the engine of our sterilization program: around 500 females sterilized each year, with a target of 700 in 2026, to stem abandonment at the source. The clinic also runs subsidized local campaigns, including a municipal program of more than 600 sterilizations and microchippings.
Veterinary care is our largest budget item: 27.8% of our expenses. Every donation contributes to it directly.
